We are always buying!
We don't cherry pick - we'll buy your whole collection!
How to sell to us:
Just fetch in your items and we will quickly have a look through and make you an offer.
You can have already priced items like cards or counted the number of comics you wish to trade in yourself, which will save us time but we are happy to do that.
We will give you a printed offer showing cash/ store credit values. This is valid until you leave the shop.
You choose what you want to do - accept any of the offer values or simply take your items back home with you. There is no pressure.
We can issue you with a credit note if you want to trade but wish to spend the credit another time.

HOW DO WE VALUE CARDS?
Generally we use ebay completed listings.
We are happy to use price checking apps (manabox etc) and it can save us a lot of time if you come in to trade with your cards already scanned.
We take condition in to account.
WARHAMMER
Generally for warhammer we pay 25% value as cash, 33% as store credit towards sealed stock or 50% store credit towards used stock.
We add up what we think we can sell each item for and then use the above percentages. This takes into account condition etc.
We don't pay more for sealed product as any sealed product we buy we have to legally treat as used anyway. We cannot resell it as new.
FUNKO POPS
We just pay a flat £2.50 per pop.
We do not have the expertise to pay more.
COMICS
We just pay a flat 25p per comic.
We do not have the expertise to pay more.
GRAPHIC NOVELS & Role Play Books
What we pay depends on how old the book is, condition and it's binding (Hard back etc)
WHY DON'T WE PAY MORE?
We do get asked this from time to time.
There are a few reasons.
- We are VAT registered and have to pay 20% VAT on much of what we sell.
- We have accounts directly with suppliers - why pay more when for similar money we can buy safely through our suppliers with credit terms and no questions over authenticity etc.
- When we do sell the items on we will probably have to pay shipping and ebay fees (we sell a lot on ebay).
- We are a long established business that has staff and premises to pay for.
We do reserve the right to not buy / trade with you.
We are not obliged to make a deal with you (as you are not obliged to deal with us).
If we do make a trade please be aware you are being recorded on camera and we will probably require ID and a signature.
We have helped the police convict people that have tried to sell us stolen goods.
